Atlas for Mariners
OpenCPN
Placemarks (waypoints, routes...) from Atlas for mariners are stored in a .gpx file that you can download into your computer in order to import into OpenCPN.
How to import marks into OpenCPN ?
- Click on
fiji.gpx in order to save marks on your computer.
- In OpenCPN toolbar, click on the [Route & Mark Manager] tool.
- Clic on [Import GPX...] button.
- Select the fiji.gpx file that you have saved into the Downloads folder then click on [Open] button.
How to import marks into a OpenCPN layer ?
- Click on
fiji.gpx in order to save marks on your computer.
- Check that OpenCPN data folder does include a sub-folder named Layers (C:\ProgramData\opencpn\Layers in Windows). If sub-folder Layers does not exist, create a Layers sub-folder in C:\ProgramData\opencpn.
- Copy the fiji.gpx file that you have saved from the Downloads folder to the Layers sub-folder.
- Restart OpenCPN.
